X-Men: First Class
Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-MEN. Twentieth Century Fox

BOMB THE SYSTEM
A hit at festivals in The States, BOMB THE SYSTEM is the first feature length film in over 20 years to focus on the subject of graffiti - the only art form that can also be considered a crime.
Anthony ‘Blest’ (STORYTELLING’S Mark Webber) is one of the most talented and notorious graffiti artists in New York City. Despite the tragic loss of his older brother during a nightly ‘bombing’ foray with a graffiti crew, Anthony parties, shoplifts spray-paint and tags virgin walls with his signature ‘Blest’. He does his best to avoid run-ins with the cops and hostile rival crews, but can’t avoid pressure from his mother to attend college, and from his girlfriend to leave New York with her. As tensions rise, a physical threat from the cops causes the crew to intensify their bombing excursions, calling an all out war on the city. When the inevitable confrontation comes, a tragedy results that pushes Anthony to make a decision that has darker consequences. BOMB THE SYSTEM is an unforgettable portrait of the often missunderstood art form and culture of graffiti.
The Freshest Kids: History Of A B-Boy
Due to my previous post I went on searching for some oldschool Hiphop & dance movies and I came across this documentary wich tells the story about B-Boying putting HipHop on the map. Dancers that talk about the first B-Boys like Spy, The Nigga Twinz and all those other cats. Rock Steady Crew with Crazy Legs, Mr. Freeze, Frosty Freeze, and K. Swift share their story..Also Melle Mel from The Furious Five (haha that was sum'n else back in the days) shares a few words. It talks about the uprising of HipHop from the Bronx, New York reaching the West Coast and later the world.
In short.. This documentary is a must see for all dancers, MC's, DJ's, Graffiti writers and well, everyone else that cares..
